Kittens born outside can encounter many medical issues, one of which are eye infections, which can be very serious if left untreated. Gingham’s eye infection was already so severe that she couldn’t open her eyes due to the crust that had formed over them. Luckily, basic medical attention is enough to enormously improve goop-induced crusty eyes. We used warm damp compresses to wipe her eyes so she could see, and then put her on a round of topical antibiotics. Thanks to your support, Gingham got the care she needed and will up to regular kitten hijinks in no time.
