At 8 days old, all four of Ricci’s kittens remain prolific hissers and can even do very intimidating (according to them) spits! We are so scared….
All four have exceeded their week one milestones, doubling their birth weights at just 5 and 6 days old! Big sisters Chopper and Lila were spayed yesterday, and in a few days will be going back to their home.
And don’t worry, hissing is very normal at this age, and usually is the result of a strange smell or being woken up by a sibling or a dream. They still can’t see or hear, so the only senses they can react to are smell and touch.
