I have an important announcement about cat Coco.

Today, I have an announcement to make about Coco.

About a week ago, I found out that Coco has a disease called “hypertrophic cardiomyopathy” when he had his physical checkup.

The walls of Coco’s heart are three times thicker than those of a normal cat, and because it cannot contract properly, it is not able to pump blood vigorously throughout his body.

As a result, he is chronically anemic and is on the verge of kidney failure due to insufficient blood supply.

Coco is currently under observation with a prescription for medication to help his heart function.

I myself am shocked by this fact, as nothing was noted in last year’s physical examination. However, it is Coco who is suffering the most, so I would like to support him as much as I can toward his recovery with the help of veterinarians.

I am very sorry for causing you all to worry, but I will let you know as soon as there is any change, and I hope you will wait for him.
