Introducing Apple Cider litter’s Kittens Showcase: “Dangerzone” choreographed by Shorty (Lucy Shortrider). This routine incorporates a TopGun theme, using the introduction music to the movie TopGun Maverick. A routine of 10, the Apple Cider litter worked extremely hard to ride in advanced sequences with perfect routine etiquette. An extremely talented litter, they strived with every add on that might have questioned their abilities!
A series of shapes and manoeuvres were used to exhibit parts of the movie, such as the DNA (weave between 2 riders on each side of the centreline) to represent the in air fight between Maverick and Rooster in the movie. The canter keyhole leading onto a reverse eclipse in the extended was meant to demonstrate the two wingman and their slangs to guid them through the tight turns. Not only that, but the action arrow towards the end of the routine, to show a popular flight formation.
We were able to get a final take within 2 full run throughs, and for that I cannot complain. I am so proud of my babies for getting a take, and helping me through some rough practices. They are now all grown up in cubs, and although I miss them in kittens, they are all going to kill it in the arena with the tigers 🧡🖤
