All cats are very clean and don’t like the unfamiliar smell of others. This is why they are always licking their fur and their offspring.
We recently had four little foster kittens. They were found on the street without their mother cat. Lima the cat kindly agreed to adopt them and started feeding them. It was time for Joanna to meet them, too. Joanna doesn’t really like new kittens when they come to us, but she did foster and raise some. She meets them with a hiss and growl as if she would be outraged that she was not consulted again.
