Kitten

The Content You Really Want // Kittens

Sewing has slowed down, play time has picked up, and I spent four hours kitten proofing the bottom of my dad’s recliner chair so they couldn’t climb inside it. We’ve got babies in the house.

Thank you all for your well wishes and love after I lost my beautiful cat Gunny last month. He was the sweetest boy, such a ragdoll you could hold and play with for ages and he’d never get bothered. Everyone in my family is still devastated to have had him turn for the worse so fast, and to leave us so soon after his sister Cleo last October. They will always be my first little loves. I even picked up a vintage photo frame at the antique mall this week to put their pictures in…becuase I’m a cat lady, let’s face it.

Our house simply felt too lonely, empty for the first time in 17 years, without our much loved Gunny and Cleo. My parents decided to adopt two kittens. We have a lot of love to devote to cats in our house, we all adore them. Of course there was a third kitten (the silver buddy Oli) at the foster home too, from a different litter and two weeks older than the tortie and orange tabby, and my mom simply couldn’t leave him behind, so now my family have three tiny kittens to keep up with! Two boys and one little lady.

Let’s just hope I manage to get anything done from this month’s to-do list now with these lovelies in the house ❤️

But wait there’s more! A PO BOX finally wahoo!

First, a disclaimer: So many of you have kindly offered to send me things, including vintage items you may have inherited, and I am so honored you would think of me and of course I do adore vintage treasures, however, unfortunately I only have so much storage space currently! So there is a chance that if something just wont work for me, or doesn’t fit me etc, that I may not be able to keep all of your lovely things. Please only send things if you are okay with the possibility that I may donate items I just cannot keep. If you would prefer I put things that I can’t keep into the TCH Etsy shop to help raise funds for me and the channel, please specify this in a note or letter in your parcel. Thank you so much!
