Panther Meets The Foster Kittens

Yesterday (June 13 2012) we had our cat Panther vaccinated against any kind of disease or illness that he could possibly catch from other cats but since it will take 3 to 4 weeks for the vaccination to fully take effect (and he has to go for a booster shot against feline leukemia in 3 weeks) we have decided that we will not be adopting any of our 6 current foster kittens. Since Panther is still quite unsure about the whole living with a kitten concept we feel it would be unfair to both him and the kittens to wait a full month before they could physically interact so we could get an idea if they would all get along well enough for us to make a go of it.
Though it will be sad for us to say goodbye to all of these wonderful little darlings we will be fostering more kittens from VOKRA (the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Assoc.) in the future so maybe one day we will find a little friend or two for Panther and become an even bigger and happier family. I guess Monkey will have to destroy someone elses house now, sob!!!!!
Please visit the VOKRA website (see link below) and support this wonderful organization and their very important work. Thanks!
