Eye clean up and eye meds time. There’s new photos on FB (link below) and the camera catches every bit of damp fur and crustiness around their eyes and makes them look SO much worse than they do in person. Even so, they look so much better than they did to begin with! Now they look like regular kittens with eye issues, not kittens dodging the grim reaper. John is tuxie-dyslexic here. He’s looking at Peanut, thinking “Peanut”, and saying Tomato. Tomato is innocently across the room – don’t be mislead. 😀
The Five Guys have bad eye infections and nasal congestion and they all have varying degrees of vision, from both eyes being open to both being closed and stages in between. They’re recovering well, though their eyes still look a little rough and they’re getting regular treatment. Prognosis on their eyes is guarded – we’re hopeful, but it’s too soon to know for sure what level of vision they’ll end up with.
They came in at 8 weeks old but only 6 development wise.
